At least fifty-five passengers were injured last week after their Los Angeles Metro train struck a bus at a railroad crossing on West Exposition Boulevard. The collision occurred at the crossing just north of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. According to authorities, the collision occurred just before noon.
Thankfully, no one was killed in the collision. However, of the 55 injured, 18 were taken to hospitals, two in critical condition and 16 in fair condition. At least 37 were treated and released on the scene. There was also one occupant on the bus who was seriously injured.
