A Philadelphia-bound SEPTA (Southeast Pennsylvania Transit Authority) commuter passenger train traveling on SEPTA’s “Route 100” high-speed rail line, recorded SEPTA’s second death in less than 12 hours Sunday morning about 2:30 A.M. when it struck and killed an unidentified 18-year-old white male from Havertown, PA.

The teen pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, which was adjacent to SEPTA’s Overbrook station.
