Canadian National Stonewalls Press in Child’s Death at Wisconsin Crossing
(Little Chute, Wisconsin – November 22, 2011)
The tragic death of an as-yet unidentified boy at the crossing of Canadian National railroad tracks and Washington Street in Little Chute, WI drew “no comment” replies from CN media relations Spokesman Patrick Waldron after the early Tuesday morning (4:20 A.M.) tragedy.
The boy was struck and killed by a Canadian National freight train, and that was the limit of information the CN spokesman would offer, saying he would not comment further and CN would leave the investigation up to the Fox Valley Metro Police.
The crossing is equipped with lights, bells and gates, but no authority would confirm if they were operating properly or not.
