A Florida pedestrian was killed by an Amtrak train earlier this month near Miami-Dade, Florida. According to local police, the collision occurred just before 12:30 p.m. near Northwest 27th and Ali Baba avenues, in Opa-Locka. It is unknown at this time how fast the train was approaching the individual on the tracks or how long the individual was on the tracks.
The Miami-Dade police are investigating this collision.
