A Union Pacific freight train loaded with cars of iron ore derailed 30 of its cars just 10 miles after embarking on its Nephi, UT-to-Stockton, CA trip Saturday morning about 8:15 A.M. near Parley, UT. The derailment, cause of which is yet to be determined, occurred just south of Utah Highway 132. No injuries were reported.
