Union Pacific Derails in State Capital

Sacramento, CA’s fire dept. hazardous materials team was among the respondents Sunday morning when a load of pipe aboard a Union Pacific freight train became compromised and spilled, derailing several cars and endangering tank cars loaded with hydrochloric acid and propane. The derailment occurred near State University Drive.
