A Valley Transit Authority light rail commuter train struck and seriously injured an unidentified female pedestrian at the intersection of Berryessa Road in Capitol Avenue in San Jose, CA Sunday night about 10:45 P.M.
The woman was rushed to Regional Medical Center in San Jose, suffering from undetermined injuries. The train was traveling from Alum Rock to Santa Teresa.
