An as-yet unidentified pedestrian died about 2:15 A.M. Wednesday morning when he was struck by a northbound CSX freight train near the Emerson Street crossing of CSX tracks in Jacksonville, FL. The pedestrian may have misjudged the speed of the slow-moving train. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the tragic death.
