At least one road is closed following the derailment of the locomotive and 10 freight cars of a Canadian National Railroad freight train near Coggan, IA in Linn County. Few details were forthcoming after the 3:45 A.M. accident early Thursday morning. There were no reports of injuries or hazardous materials involved, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
