(Alexander, Illinois – June 4, 2011)

Evidentially confused, a 52-year-old Illinois motorist, Nick Chingman, stopped at a Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing in this small Morgan County community, and then, for unknown reasons, backed over it into the path of a NS freight train travelling at 50 mph Saturday. The Morgan County Coroner said the victim was killed on impact.
