Semi Driver Injured At Dangerous, Unguarded Union Pacific Crossing
(Moyie Springs, Idaho – November 16, 2011)
The driver of an 18-wheeler first stopped at the dangerous, unguarded crossing of Union Pacific Railroad tracks and East Railroad/CR 62 Wednesday, and then proceeded across the double tracks, only to be struck and seriously injured by a Union Pacific freight train he neither saw nor heard. The driver, Ronald Miller, 45, of Superior, MT was hospitalized in undisclosed condition after the train struck and seriously damaged the tractor of his 18-wheeler.
