North Dakota Woman Killed by BNSF Train

(Jamestown, North Dakota – June 2, 2011)

A woman seeking help after her car became stuck on a rural North Dakota road 11 miles west of Jamestown, ND, was struck and killed by a westbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight train just before 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning.

Authorities could not determine why Barbara Trouba, 43, of Jamestown, was in the rural area, but found her stuck vehicle nearby.
