Los Angeles Blue Line Light Rail Train/Car Collision Injures Nine
(Los Angeles, California – November 25, 2011)
An automobile carrying four people was struck by an oncoming Los Angeles Metrolink Blue Line light rail passenger train in downtown Los Angeles, CA Friday afternoon about 2:50 P.M..
The exact location of the accident was on Flower Street, just north of 18th Street, where an on-ramp leads to Interstate Highway 10.
The accident resulted in injury for five passengers aboard the train as well as all four occupants of the car, all of whom were transported to California Hospital Medical Center for treatment of what police and fire dept. personnel described as “minor injuries.”
