Freight Train Kills Woman on Railroad Tracks

(Quincy, Washington – March 14, 2011) An eastbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe coal train headed for Wyoming struck and killed a 48-year-old resident of this central Washington community, as she walked near the railroad tracks in the vicinity of the intersection of 4th and Division Streets about 8:00 P.M. Sunday.  Her cause of death was found to be blunt-force trauma.
