At Least Ten Passengers Injured in Los Angeles after Metrolink Train Strikes Vehicle
(Los Angeles, California – May 28, 2021)
A Metrolink and vehicle collision resulted in at least ten injuries to passengers on the train. Seven of the ten injured were sent to local hospitals with moderate injuries. The other three were treated at the scene and released.
The train collision occurred on May 28, 2021 late morning at the Paxton Street Crossing in Pacoima. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the collision and it is unknown why the vehicle was on the tracks.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating this incident.
