Arkansas Teenager Dies at Rural Railroad Crossing

(Rector, Arkansas – April 6, 2011)

A 17-year-old Rector, Arkansas high school student was killed about 8:15 this morning at the Union Pacific railroad crossing with Clay County Route 481, a gravel road just outside of Rector in northeast Arkansas. Kayley Dare Bell was pronounced dead by the Clay County Coroner after her 1999 Pontiac Firebird was clipped by the locomotive of the UP train and she was ejected from the vehicle.
