(Morton Grove, Illinois – July 17, 2012)

A 38-year-old male resident of Skokie, IL was struck and killed by a Chicago Metra commuter passenger train Tuesday afternoon as he crossed Metra railroad tracks to catch a ride home in Morton Grove, IL.
Danny You left after work at one of the factories in the area and walked across the railroad tracks to be picked up by his ride, but was struck by the northbound train on its way to Fox Lake, IL.
Morton Grove Police Commander Paul Yaras said that the victim was not at a crossing and apparently did not see or hear the train coming.
