Kentucky Pedestrian Killed While Crossing CSX Tracks at Commonly Used Pathway

A 46-year-old Madisonville, KY woman crossing CSX railroad tracks via a clearly well-worn and commonly used pathway where there is no public crossing died after she was struck by a freight train at about 9:17 P.M., EST Thursday night near the street intersection of 43rd and Glenn Streets in Covington, KY.

Former Illinois High School Volleyball Star Killed at Poorly Designed Union Pacific Crossing

A 19-year-old college student and former Illinois high school volleyball player had her life cut short just before 5:00 P.M., CST Wednesday afternoon when her car slipped into the path of a Chicago-bound  Metra commuter passenger train at an extremely questionably-designed crossing of Union Pacific Railroad tracks and Lily Pond Road in rural McHenry County, IL, between Woodstock and Crystal Lake, IL.

Southern California Rocked by Pair of Passenger Train Crossing Collisions in 12 Hours

Two catastrophic crossing collisions plagued police and emergency response personnel in two Los Angeles-area communities within the short span of 12 hours Monday evening and early Tuesday morning, killing a female motorist in one accident and injuring dozens of Caltrain passengers in the other.

Alabama County Dump Truck Driver Killed at Dangerous, Unguarded CSX Crossing

A 19-year veteran employee of the Jefferson County, AL Roads and Transportation Dept. tragically lost his life Friday morning at about 10:20 A.M., EST when the dump truck he was driving collided with a CSX freight train at the dangerous, unguarded, questionably-designed and tree-obscured crossing of Brasher Road and CSX Railroad tracks near Warrior, AL.
