A mother and her two-year-old son were transported to University Health Services in Shreveport after their car collided with a string of railroad tank cars being backed across the dangerous and unguarded industrial crossing of Union Pacific Railroad tracks and Alto Vista Road in the Hollywood area of Shreveport, LA just before 10 PM, CST Wednesday night.

A 78-year-old Shaftsbury, VT driver was seriously hurt at the dangerous and unguarded intersection of the Vermont Railway and Cemetery Road in Arlington, VT shortly after 1:00 P.M., EST Monday afternoon when the 2001 Saab 95 station wagon he was driving was struck on the front passenger side quarter panel by a southbound Vermont Railway freight train.

Idaho Semi Driver Seriously Injured at Dangerous, Unguarded Union Pacific Crossing

An as-yet unidentified 18-wheeler driver, said to be in his 60’s, was injured Friday morning at about 10:30 A.M., MST when a westbound Union Pacific freight train smashed into his semi-trailer at the dangerous and unguarded single track crossing of UPRR rails and Cinder Butte Road near Mountain Home, ID.
