Texas Driver Killed by Amtrak Train at Dangerous, Unguarded Union Pacific Crossing

The unfortunate driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene after the truck was struck by Amtrak’s San Antonio-to-Chicago “Texas Eagle” train at the dangerous and unguarded crossing of Union Pacific rails and Williamson County, TX Road 387 just outside of Bartlett, TX at about 12:50 P.M., CST Tuesday afternoon.

Wisconsin Truck Driver and Passenger Injured at Non-Gated Canadian National Crossing

The driver of a westbound semi-trailer truck loaded with wood scraps and his unidentified passenger was hit by a Canadian National freight train at the non-gated crossing of Wisconsin Highway 121 and Canadian National railroad tracks at about 12:10 P.M. Thursday.

A 51-year-old Blakesburg, Iowa man lost his life last Wednesday at about 10:11 A.M. when the All-Terrain-Vehicle he was driving collided with a Canadian Pacific freight train at the dangerous and unguarded crossing of 260th Place/690th Avenue and CP tracks just south of the unincorporated community of Brompton, IA.
