North Dakota Bobcat Operator Killed at Dangerous, Unguarded BNSF Crossing

(Mandan, North Dakota – December 13, 2014)

The operator of a Bobcat end loader was killed Saturday afternoon at about 1:40 P.M., CST when his machine was struck by a 121-car BNSF coal train being pulled by three locomotives. The operator was working on a dangerous and unguarded dirt railroad crossing on a privatized portion of Morton County Highway 83, about 10 miles southwest of Mandan, ND.

Pennsylvania Driver with Two Children Passengers Severely Injured at Dangerous, Unguarded Norfolk Southern Crossing

A 25-year-old man with two children in the car was severely injured Wednesday night at about 8:00 P.M., EST, when he collided with a Norfolk Southern freight train at the dangerous and unguarded crossing of Vesta Street in Roscoe, PA.

Idaho Motorist Killed at Dangerous, Deadly, and Unguarded Union Pacific Crossing

The dangerous, deadly and unguarded crossing which was the site of one of the most horrible train/highway vehicle accidents in Idaho history caused another fatality last Wednesday morning at about 10:11 A.M., MST, when an 18-year-old Shelley, ID driver became the fifth fatality to occur at the crossing of Union Pacific Railroad tracks and Road 1450 North just east of Shelley.

A 61-year-old semi-trailer truck driver hauling shelled corn was killed Wednesday morning at about 9:14 A.M., CST when he attempted to cross the non-gated crossing of Alworth Road and Canadian National railroad tracks in Winnebago County, IL, near the community of Winnebago, and was struck by a short CN freight train.

Missouri Motorist Injured at Dangerous, Unguarded BNSF Crossing

A 67-year-old Neosho, MO man was injured Friday morning at about 11:30 A.M., CST in Newton County, MO about five miles west of Neosho when his vehicle was hit by a BNSF freight train at the dangerous and unguarded crossing of Gazelle Drive and BNSF railroad tracks.

Texas Motorist Seriously Injured Only Miles From Another Recent Tragedy at Dangerous, Unguarded Union Pacific Crossing
