Verdicts
On March 4, 1997, Robert Pottroff obtained a jury verdict in excess of $10,000,000.00 on behalf of a twenty-five year-old client who was injured in a railroad crossing accident. The jury found the railroad 99% at fault and the plaintiff 1%.
Changes in law and policy
Robert Pottroff
Nero v. Kansas State University, 253 Kan. 567, 861 P.2d 768 (1993); established the duty of a university to exercise reasonable care to protect the safety of students it houses.
Vetter v. Morgan, 22 Kan.App.2d 1, 913 P.2d 1200(1995): established the right of a brain injured person to recover damages from all parties jointly engaged in harassment and an assault that lead up to her injury.
